I checked your songs out. And I am really amazed at the control you have on your akaaram. you have a golden voice. There is a bubbling thriving Indian music-blogging community. Whoever you are (Carpe-diem does not sound like a name !), your talent is humbling. Kudos !
@M.V: Thanks. Sweet of you to drop by. It is great isn't it that the blogosphere allows for so much sharing? I saw your blog..u seem to be associated with the music industry. Mehfil-e-Ghazal is interesting. You should look at putting up ghazals by greats such as Farida Khanum (apart from Aaj Jaane ki Zid, 'Tum Aur Fareb Khao' is a beaut!), Mehdi Hasan (Roshan Jaaml-e-Yaar)and this one by Begum Akhtar called 'Mohabbat Karne Waale Kam Na Honge'. Will try and drop by more often at your blog and offer my tuppence :)
Writing was never my thing. But like for many others I suppose, one makes new discoveries as you go through life. And writing it was for me. It became cathartic. I'd write out reams and reams and it would just sit there, like an extension of my mind. But some experiences are worth sharing. So this is no "let's review the latest fashion trends", nor is it a discourse. Just a re-telling of what goes on in my rather un-silent but peaceful mind.
